Care Guide
Brilliant for generations.
A few habits is all it takes to keep gold, silver and gemstones looking the way they did the day you brought them home.
Step 01
Wear last, remove first
Put your jewelry on after lotions, fragrances and hair products. Take it off before bathing, exercising or sleeping.
Step 02
Store separately
Keep each piece in its Ngali pouch or a soft-lined drawer to prevent tangles and scratches. Velvet trays are ideal for rings.
Step 03
Clean gently
Warm water and a drop of dish soap, then a soft brush. Pat dry with a microfiber cloth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners on gemstones with inclusions.
Step 04
Polish at home, repair with us
Use a non-abrasive polishing cloth between visits. Book a free polish + re-sizing at our Kimihurura atelier any time — lifetime maintenance is included.
House Rules
What to never do.
- —Remove rings before lifting weights, gardening, or any task that knocks against hard surfaces.
- —Pearls and opals are porous — never soak, never use chemical cleaners.
- —Silver tarnishes naturally. A 60-second polish brings it back; storing in airtight bags slows it down.
- —Diamonds attract grease. A monthly soap soak restores brilliance.
